North Dakota Democrats Try To Suppress Hunters’ Votes

If there was ever a doubt that the anti-hunting extremists have fully infiltrated the Democratic party and that sportsmen’s votes matter now more than ever, let this prove it once and for all. Check this out:

A fraudulent Facebook page named “Hunter Alerts” is desperately trying to suppress hunters’ votes in the Peace Garden State by claiming that hunters will lose their out-of-state hunting licenses if they vote in the 2018 midterm elections.

The North Dakota Democratic NLP tried to suppress hunter turnout in the upcoming midterm elections by disseminating false information. Fortunately, the pushback on social media and on Fox News was swift.

The National Rifle Association Institute for Legislative Action (NRA-ILA) has been Tweeting and posting on Facebook about this important issue, and NRA-ILA public affairs appeared this morning on statewide radio in North Dakota to push back on these outrageous claims. State licensing officials including Randy Meissner, the licensing manager for the North Dakota Game and Fish Department, have confirmed that the claims in the ad are false.

NRA Institute for Legislative Action (NRA-ILA) pushed back immediately against the false claims being put out by the North Dakota Democratic NPL that hunters would lose out-of-state licenses if they voted in the upcoming midterm elections.

The Facebook post reads: “ATTENTION HUNTERS: If you vote in North Dakota, you may forfeit hunting licenses you have in other states. If you want to keep your out-of-state hunting licenses, you may not want to vote in North Dakota. Learn more” and then directs hunters to a landing page to “learn more” information. The page offers no more information, though, offering the same call to action in bold on the crudely made page.

The website and its deceptive claims are being paid for by the “North Dakota Democratic-NPL,”—which stands for Nonpartisan League Party, a political party founded in 1915 by the founder of the Socialist Party of America—with contact information showing a phone number of 701-255-0460 and an address of 1902 E Divide Ave. in Bismarck, N.D. The ads already have thousands of impressions behind them despite that they only launched on the pop-up Facebook page yesterday, Nov. 1.

This should incite every hunter, fisherman, trapper and outdoorsman in North Dakota and every other state to drop everything to get to the polls on Election Day. If we don’t, then we really might lose our licenses, and our mainstream all-American hunting heritage…for good.
