Richard and Liz Shea, a dynamic couple from Texas, have always been passionate about the outdoors and the thrill of the hunt. Their love for hunting and shooting sports has brought them closer together and inspired them to support the National Rifle Association through a planned gift in their will.
Richard's first big game hunt was an unforgettable experience. He bagged an elk on an exhilarating expedition, and the excitement of the hunt was palpable. A year later, Richard enthusiastically recounted his adventure at a dinner with industry leaders during the NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits. The group, intrigued by his story, asked Liz if she had also bagged an elk. With a playful smile, Liz replied, "No, Cheapie wouldn't buy me a gun."
The room erupted in laughter, and the camaraderie was infectious. Inspired by the moment, Richard surprised Liz with a hunt for her birthday. To their delight, the industry leaders sent her an array of hunting gear as a present, making it a truly memorable occasion.
